Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is designed to attract skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs who can contribute to Manitoba’s economy. The program offers multiple immigration pathways based on employment, education, and business experience.

Skilled Worker Streams

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

This stream is for individuals currently working in Manitoba who have established strong connections to the province through long-term employment. Applicants must have a valid job offer from a Manitoba employer and meet eligibility requirements related to work experience and adaptability.

Skilled Workers Overseas

This pathway is for qualified workers living outside Canada who can demonstrate a strong connection to Manitoba. Connections may include close family members, previous work or study experience in the province, or an invitation issued directly by the MPNP, and long-term settlement intentions aligned with Manitoba’s labor market needs.

International Education Streams

These pathways are designed for international graduates from Manitoba post-secondary institutions who intend to live and work in the province.

Career Employment Pathway

Graduates who have completed eligible programs in Manitoba and secured long-term employment in an in-demand occupation may apply under this pathway.

Graduate Internship Pathway

International graduates who have completed a master’s or doctoral program in Manitoba and participated in an approved internship may qualify for nomination, even without a job offer.

International Student Entrepreneur Pilot

This stream allows international graduates of Manitoba institutions to pursue permanent residence after establishing and operating a business in the province.

Business Investor Streams

Entrepreneur Pathway

This pathway is for experienced business owners or senior managers who plan to establish or purchase a business in Manitoba and actively manage operations.

Farm Investor Pathway

Individuals with farm ownership and management experience who intend to establish or purchase a farming business in rural Manitoba may apply through this stream.

Federal Immigration Programs

In addition to provincial nomination options, Manitoba supports candidates through federal immigration pathways that allow skilled workers and families to immigrate to Canada. These programs are managed by the Government of Canada and may complement provincial nomination opportunities.
